All kinds of courses need to be adapted (Horizontal transition, Vertical transition, etc.) performs the task of studying situations and making course adjustments.

May May, horizontal transfer, vertical transfer, double major and minor applications, as well as the evaluation of courses taken in other programs and/or institutions and earned credits are applied according to the principles of Ondokuz Mayıs University Associate and Undergraduate Education Examination Regulations and the principles of Ondokuz Mayıs University Associate and Undergraduate Exemption Procedures Directive. According to the principles of the directive, the adaptation operations are carried out by following the following steps:

  1. The adaptation and exemption application for the ÖSYM placement results is made by the student with a petition to the student affairs unit within two weeks after the registration deadline. Transfer students do not need to apply separately.

  2. The contents of the courses that the student has previously been successful in (sealed, stamped and signed) and the grade certificate must be attached to the petition. Petitions with a lack of documents will not be processed.

  3. It is expected to be evaluated by the Unit/Department Adjustment Commission and decided by the Department's Board of Directors within one week following the application deadline.

  4. The student can object to the adjustment and exemption results within 5 working days from the date of notification of the decision of the Board of Directors of the Department to the student. The objections are re-examined by the commissions, if any, the change is decided by the Department's Board of Directors. If there are objections, they are re-examined by the commission and decided by the Board of Directors of the Unit.

  5. The decisions taken are forwarded to the student affairs of the unit, the letter grade equivalents of the courses from which the student is exempt are added, and the student exemption procedures are completed.
